Game of Thrones is back on April 14th
2019 and the death toll should be plenty. This year the death-pool will be a
bit different. Instead of guessing whether or not a character will die,
simply guess which episode you think they will die in. Make a guess for each living character (Episode 1-6), even if you don't think they will die, and make a guess for which character will hold the throne. There is no penalty for being wrong; however, you only get points for being right. Download the poorly updated document here, and email back to me. Email to david.carver@hotmail.com $5 with paypal or cash when possible. Same email for paypal.
The winnings. Fifty $1 coins in a leather pouch with a "Hand of the King" pin attached.

Death Toll:
S07E01
Arya Stark crashed a Frey party. No one of import is killed
S07E02
Nymeria Sand was strangled by Euron Greyjoy with her own weapon.
Obara Sand was impaled by Euron Greyjoy with her own weapon.
S07E03
Jaimie offers poison to Olenna Tyrell which she promptly drinks without protest.
Cersei gives Tyene Sand the Kiss of the Long Fairwell. But let's not write Tyene off just yet.
S07E04
Dany rides her dragon(Drogon) into battle and both sides manage to kill no one in particular.
S07E05
Gendry, Tormund, John Snow, Mormont, Sandor, Davos, and Beric go north of the wall to capture a white walker.
I'm guessing the only one to die will be Beric. Hopefully his sidekick too otherwise nobody dies...
Sam's brother and father are executed via Dragon fire.
S07E06
Thoros of Myr gets attacked by an undead bear and freezes to death while being useless. Unfortunately his character never
made it into our death pool. Viserion the merciful got an ice spear through the chest which is apparently much more deadly than a regular
spear launched from a giant crossbow balista thing. Viserion is now a wight. Jon's fault by the way. Jon almost got his but he is as immune to hypothermia as Daenerys is from fire.
While not freezing to death he is almost engulfed in an army of wights before being conveniently saved by his uncle Benjen. Benjen was then piled onto by
the wights. Presumably he's dead but lets be honest, he's been dead since season 1. I am counting him dead until further notice
S07E07
A trial is held for Arya Stark Petyr Baelish and is found to be guilty of everything that has ever gone wrong since season 1. He is executed by Arya with his own Valyrian dagger. Fine death but I wanted to see the little man fly.
Leave it to HBO to have a huge battle in which we finally get to see dragons up against the lanisters and yet nobody even remotely important dies... If this were actually written by GRRM I bet Bron, Jaime, and the dragon would be dead.
Anyone else notice the timeline issues in the new season? One scene the characters are on one side of Westeros and in the next they are on the opposite side. Remember how many episodes it took Bran to get to that stupid tree...
I dont need points anyways.

The points sort of don't matter until the last episode in the season airs anyway. Then we can add in all the points for the characters who survive.

ReplyDeleteKek not last place
ReplyDeleteYeah @tim! waht a loser.
DeleteI won for deaths. Unfortunately I thought too many would die this season, so I lost.
DeleteMaybe episode two will have a little more bloodshed
ReplyDeleteYeah, seriously...
DeleteAlright at least I'm still in first place.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we dont have a viewing party. I spent an hour and a half yelling at my TV for episode three.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Especially because it was too damn dark to see anything half the time. Everyone got points tonight.
DeleteI named the gold dragon the wrong name...
ReplyDeleteAlso, wow episode 3!
That seemed out of character for Bron.
ReplyDeleteDo I get points since the iron throne died?
