Here's a project from a while ago. I had a broken fishing rod and the handle on one of our marshmallow/hotdog roasters broke off. So my dad and I decided to mesh them together to make a novelty hotdog roaster. Short video of it working after the jump. I haven't had the chance to build any new projects because I'm waiting on parts from china for my new clock I'm building. So I'll be posting 2 or 3 older projects of mine while I'm trying to finish the clock.

First N64 Mod Update

http://shortcircuitprojects.blogspot.com/2013/10/fishing-rod-hotdog-roaster.html

I've been working on my Nintendo 64 off and on for a few weeks. I have added a few mods to it including a back-light on the logo, a fan on the top, and some various LED's. I plan on doing a few more mods before calling it finished. But here I'm showing my attempt at a paint job and side lighting. The paint job didn't turn out how I wanted.

Cake Boards For Stonegate

http://shortcircuitprojects.blogspot.com/2013/10/cake-boards-for-stonegate_9.html

http://shortcircuitprojects.blogspot.com/2013/10/cake-boards-for-stonegate_9.html
The pastry chef at Stonegate Conference & Banquet Centre asked me to build her some cake boards. These give the chef a solid, controlled surface to build the cake on and transport it out of the kitchen. She requested there be two sets of 5 boards. first set being round at a 16" diameter, and the second set square. 16"x16".

My New Electronics Bench

http://shortcircuitprojects.blogspot.com/2013/10/new-work-space-i-built.html

http://shortcircuitprojects.blogspot.com/2013/10/new-work-space-i-built.html

Recently I had to give up my larger mini fridge. So with the new space left in my room I extended my computer desk with some plywood to add a proper Electronics Bench to my room. I also mounted a power strip on the wall, built a Soldering Station, a small Component Drawer Set, and a Bench Power Supply.
